What is the eligibility period for the 2009 New York Emmy® Awards? Entries must have been produced and had their first broadcast/cablecast within the New York Chapter's regional boundaries (New York State and Northern New Jersey) during September 1, 2007 through August 31, 2008. What is the deadline to submit entries? Your entry should be at the New York Chapter officer no later than 5 PM on Tuesday, September 30, 2008. The entry deadline has been extended to Friday, October 3, 2008. All entries must be submitted online via Emmy Express by then and received at NY NATAS by Tues. Oct. 7, 2008. Anchors, Reporters, Photographers, Editors, Assignment Editors, Hosts, Directors, and qualified others may be eligible if their contributions were tantamount to the entry’s award-worthiness. The black-tie gala held at the Marriott Marquis began with an exciting reception where nominees and revelers enjoyed conversation and cocktails. Conviviality reigned supreme!
